Co-Curricular

The co-curricular program at SCAS is an integral part of the whole school curriculum and provides wonderful opportunities for students to further develop their skills and interests across a broad range of activities including sport, the arts, debating and public speaking, the law and business management, Christian development, agriculture, language and other personal interest areas. These activities take place before school, during lunch and after school with further weekend commitments in some areas.

A world of opportunities, both inside & outside the classroom, enables us to create an atmosphere where pupils can channel their enthusiasm, build on their existing talents and rise to new challenges in a creative & stimulating way. At St Columba Anglican School Port Macquarie everyone has the opportunity to discover new pursuits, to be part of a team and to make new friends. Outdoor education programmes, House activities, clubs, a great range of sports, drama, dance, debating, public speaking, chess, bands, musical ensembles, academic clubs and choirs mean there is an activity for every ability and an opportunity for everyone to explore their interests.

At St Columba Anglican School we aim to educate the whole child, providing opportunities to broaden and develop their talents. Co-Curricular activities allow students to pursue interests outside the classroom setting with students from other years and sometimes other schools. These activities also provide many performance opportunities for students as well as a chance to represent the school whether on the sporting field or in Eisteddfods.
