Music in the Curriculum is offered as a subject through to HSC level. All students in the Junior Schools have regular classroom music lessons as part of an integrated approach to the Performing Arts with a specialist teacher. Students in Year 3 are invited to participate in the String Program learning violin.
The Mandatory Music Course is completed in Year 7 and then students have the opportunity to further their studies of music through the Elective Music Course, and the Preliminary and HSC Courses in Music 1 and Music 2 and Extension. These are exciting and diverse courses, further developing student's listening, composition and performance skills.
