How to Enrol

Application forms

A family registers an Application for Enrolment with the school. Two forms are submitted: the Student Application form (one per child), and Household Application form (one per family). An application fee is to accompany the application.

Please forward completed applications and supporting details, together with application fees, to:

The Enrolments Secretary
St Columba Anglican School
P.O. Box 5358
Port Macquarie NSW 2444

School inspections area welcome every Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:15pm.

Enrolment interview

Application forms are processed and the family will be contacted to arrange a mutually convenient interview time with the school principal, registrar or delegated executive member of staff. At the interview the school ethos, uniform and discipline codes are discussed, along with various other programmes offered by the school. The child/ren’s interests as well as medical needs are also discussed.

At the conclusion of the interview the principal or delegated staff member will then offer a place at the school if they judge that the family is supportive of the ethos, codes and programmes offered by the school.

Offer of a place

A Letter of Offer and Acceptance of Offer contract form along with other relevant paperwork is sent to the family for acceptance and signatures. Once completed the family returns all paperwork required along with the Enrolment Offer Acceptance fee which is required to retain a place for the child/dren at the school. The Enrolment Offer Acceptance fee is currently $650 per child (or $1300 per family).

Orientation

During Term IV there will be an opportunity for students and their carers to attend Orientation sessions to prepare them for commencement the following year.
