"My son has had a wonderful first term in Year 9 and I am so happy with all the experiences he has been able to enjoy. I believe that up to date equipment and lovely playing fields are great, but it is the heart of the school and the attitude of the people who spend their days there that really make the difference."

"Thank you is barely adequate to convey my sentiments to you and all of the teaching and support staff at St. Columba Anglican School. You have enabled my son to proceed into a life after school equipped and empowered with a variety of skills, abilities, values and attitudes that will stand him in good stead as he embraces the challenges of his future life. The professional competence, leadership, practice and commitment of the educational community at SCAS are outstanding. SCAS has provided an enriching, nurturing and truly supportive environment for both my son, and myself as a parent, to live, learn and grow. We look forward to following the progress and future achievements of SCAS and will forever hold it in the highest of esteem."

"We attended the ANZAC day march and service with our daughter recently and just wanted to let you know how delighted we were with the students at the school. The SCAS students behaved beautifully throughout the service and the whole group was a great reflection on such a wonderful school. We have come away from this event not only moved by the service and the personal reasons why we should attend, but feeling really lucky that our daughter goes to a school that has so many children who set such a fine example of the type of person we want her to be."

"Being part of the diverse, talented and fantastic Year 7 group has been an awesome experience for me. Being a new member of the school, I didn’t know what to expect, but the diversity of the group has made it easy to fit in. St Columba is a school like no other with opportunities offered in all parts of the curriculum. We’ve had sporting teams do very well, individual sporting performances, music programs, dance programs, debating and Tournament of Minds, much of which is not offered at any ordinary school. One of the great highlights for me and the whole of year 7 group was camp, a fantastic few days where everyone enjoyed themselves. Everyone is unique and here at SCAS this is for the better. Being part of a year level like this has been an eye-opening experience which shows off the school in a great light."

“I just wanted to send a note to congratulate SCAS on your tremendous dance groups who performed at the City of Sydney Eisteddfod. I was there with a group from our school and we were sharing a change room with your students and also had the privilege of watching them perform. The energy and excitement on stage was incredible. All students clearly wanted to be there and were beaming with exceptional talent and a love of dance. It was also lovely and refreshing to witness their extreme politeness offstage when they were open to chatting to our girls about dance and showed positive sportsmanship by cheering for our groups. This attitude is not always evident at Dance Competitions.”

"I started at SCAS this year and found SCAS to be a great school. Everyone has been really friendly and made me feel very welcome, and I have made lots of new friends. I have enjoyed being part of the School netball team, and one of my favourite things this year was going on a school camp to Barrington Tops for my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. It has been a great first year for me at SCAS and I look forward to another great year next year."

"The reasons I like SCAS as a new student are that being a bigger school SCAS has the ability to create a wide range of options. Each teacher gets to know you and your abilities and help you to be the best you can be. The respect from the students towards the teachers creates an enjoyable environment to work in. The technology used at SCAS helps us to prepare for future jobs and also helps us keep in touch with teachers at home. Overall SCAS is equipping me to be a model citizen for the next stage of my life."

"SCAS is the sort of place that recognises individuals and teams of individuals who excel in a way that allows them, and the entire student body, to be proud of them. The support and confidence that our teachers bestow upon us is one that I personally am convinced is unrivalled anywhere else. SCAS is a place that has helped to cultivate the best in me, and made me the person I am very proud to be today."

"The SCAS community is something I will always feel a part of, and will carry with me for the rest of my life. The opportunities our students have been given are incredible and cannot be compared with anything else. I don't know how I am going to bring myself to leave the school when I eventually graduate in a few years! My years at SCAS have been the best years of my life."
Secondary School student who has been at SCAS since Kindergarten
"My time here at St Columba has been a rich and exciting experience, full of opportunities and lovely students and staff. St Columba has shaped me into the confident, loud and successful person I have become and I will ALWAYS be grateful for that."

"Six years ago our son embarked on his high school journey at SCAS. During those years he has been given some amazing opportunities - Rock Eisteddfod, Duke of Edinburgh, camps, Mock Trial, competitions and sporting events, just to name a few. The quality of his teachers has always been oustanding and we want to thank you for the great education has has received. It has been a pleasure to have our son attend SCAS and we appreciate all that you have done for him."
