Welcome to St Columba Anglican School.

 

St Columba is a vibrant educational community that offers much more than excellent academic results. St Columba Anglican School exists to offer families of the Port Macquarie and Hastings district a real choice in the education of their children. As an independent Anglican school we offer our families the opportunity to experience learning in a professional, caring, tolerant and vibrant learning community.

We offer the option of a continuous education from Kindergarten to Year 12 on one campus. In 2008 will expand our offering to include a pre-school when the Columba Cottage Early Learning Centre opens on campus.

In 2008 St Columba opens the school year with enthusiasm and confidence. Achieving 2007 Higher School Certificate results that place us in the top 200 schools in New South Wales was confirmation of the great work being done in the school. Add to this the exceptional results in the Basic Skills Tests, ELLA, SNAP and the School Certificate and the quality of teaching and learning at the school is shown to be top class.

Anyone who has experienced schooling knows that the quality of the teaching staff is the one of the essential keys to success. At St Columba we have a dedicated and talented staff that are always willing to help and support each student. As we have grown we have been fortunate to attract teachers of the highest calibre and experience from a range of exceptional schools.
