Facilities

The St Columba Anglican School campus is set on 36 acres approximately five kilometres from the centre of Port Macquarie.

From state-of-the-art learning, performance and technology hubs to our multi-purpose indoor Iona Sports Centre and expansive playing fields, we offer a range of modern facilities to be enjoyed by students, staff and visitors.

Some of our key facilities include:

Chapel of the Holy Trinity
As well as hosting weekly Chapel services, this space is also used for music and dance performances, presentations, social events and more. It comes equipped with a stage, projector and screen, plus a full audio sound desk.

Iona Sports Stadium
The Iona Sports Stadium is a multi-purpose facility used for sport, assemblies, functions and performances. It contains two full-sized basketball courts with electronic scoreboards, as well as a stage, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, fully equipped kitchen, staff offices and a mezzanine level with a full size gymnasium.

The Iona Performing Arts Centre
The Iona Performing Arts Centre was completed in 2017. As well as hosting the School’s co-curricular activities and PACE ensembles, the centre also provides opportunities for community engagement and commercial use. The facilities of the Iona Centre are outstanding, and will provide a wealth of possibilities for students within the program.

Amphitheatre
An outdoor venue used for entertainment and performances.

Dawson Library
The heart of contemporary learning at St Columba, the Dawson Library incorporates the eLearning Centre, tech lab, multimedia studio and learning support.

Hopkins Senior Studies Centre
Purpose-built for our Year 11 and 12 students, the Hopkins Senior Studies Centre features classrooms and study areas, a careers and IT space, dedicated drama and music rooms, plus a professional dance studio.

Sporting facilities
St Columba students have access to a range of modern sporting facilities, including an indoor basketball stadium (Iona Sports Centre), tennis courts, cricket oval and cricket nets, soccer field, rugby field, and a 400m athletics track.
