Term 4 2026 Sports Information

The SCAS sport team are now accepting nominations for students to represent the school in the HRIS individual sport pathway (HRIS - AICES - CIS - ALL SCHOOLS/PSSA) in 2026. Note these are not nominations for school gala teams. Parents are responsible for transporting students to and from individual representative trials. There will be no SCAS staff supervision.

Students interested in nominating should be prepared to provide evidence of representative history in their sport of choice. Final nominations to HRIS, AICES and CIS will be made by the SCAS sport team, after nominations have closed. Selections are made at the discretion of the Director of Sport.

Primary Co-curricular Sport

Students are welcome to participate in a variety of co-curricular sports in Term 4, commencing Week 1.

Please meet your teacher(s) at the SOLA at 8am on the day of your sport.

• Mondays - Cricket skills - Years 2-6 - Mr Best and Mrs Power
• Tuesdays - Touch Football Skills - Years 3-6 - Mrs Pringle and Mr Ferguson
• Tuesdays and Thursdays - Tennis Lessons
• Fridays - Basketball Skills - Years 3-6 - Mrs Heazelwood and Mrs van den Berg

AFL Auskick/Superkick Program at SCAS
The AFL will be offering an after-school Auskick/Superkick program at SCAS in Term 4. It will run weekly over 4 Fridays (23 October to 13 November) on the SCAS Front Oval. The program is $65.00 per student and includes an Auskick/Superkick pack. Students will be picked up from the SOLA by AFL staff immediately after school. Parents are required to pick students up from the SCAS Front Oval promptly by 4.20pm. Students who attend an on-site OOSH will be collected from and returned to the OOSH by AFL Staff. Football boots and mouthguards are not required.

• Register for Auskick (students aged 5 to 7 years old) 
• Register for Superkick (students aged 8 to 12 years old) 

Secondary Co-curricular Sport

Students are welcome to participate in a variety of co-curricular sports in Term 4, commencing Week 1. Interested students should meet their teachers in the IONA Stadium.

• Tuesdays 7.45am - Volleyball Skills
• Wednesday and Friday 7.45am - Weights Gym (Year 9-12)
