Primary School

Welcome to St Columba Anglican School. We offer a broad, challenging, academic curriculum, that is integrated with pastoral care initiatives, and sporting and cultural pursuits.  Within the context of a family, Christian environment, we promote a fun atmosphere where students are engaged, motivated and self-directed in their learning.

Blessed with modern, state-of-the-art facilities and beautiful grounds, our Primary School offers a caring, secure and supportive learning environment for Kindergarten to Year 6 students. Successful learners of the future will be creative, confident and disciplined. Academic results are a component of this profile but they are not the only ingredients. This is why we want our students to have an education that provides the social skills and physical health and well being, that gives them the emotional strength to deal with life’s challenges.

We employ highly qualified and passionate teachers who promote a love of learning, pride in individual and collective achievement, and a sense of belonging for students throughout their academic, social, emotional and spiritual development. We work to develop each student’s sense of self-efficacy and the character traits that enable this, such as hard work, self-control, grit and adaptive thinking

When your child attends our Primary School, they will be encouraged and supported to:

  • Achieve their personal best
  • Complete tasks to the best of their ability
  • Have a positive attitude towards their learning
  • Be confident, self-assured and assertive
  • Be critical thinkers
  • Become skilled in the use of information technology
  • Participate fully in opportunities presented to them
  • Develop and define their personal spirituality within an Anglican framework

We invite you and your family to visit our school to experience the welcoming, energetic and happy atmosphere for yourself.
